Corjan writes pop songs with a head, a tail and a story in between.
Corjan’s musical career took off in September 2005 when he was the first artist in the world to launch a single on a USB Memory Stick (check & check). His USB-Single Thief occupied the first position of the Dutch Legal Download Top100 for 5 consecutive weeks.
In October 2010 the artist released his Mystery Pop EP, featuring 5 songs inspired by 5 books by 5 internationally renowned bestselling authors who sold over 5 million books together, including American publishing sensations Kathleen McGowan (the Book of Love) and Glenn Cooper (Book of Souls, Library of the Dead).
In 2011, Corjan’s music will be part of a number of British films including the horror movie The Stone by director Philip Gardiner, distributed by Warner Brothers, in which Corjan also features as Mark Godwin.
At this moment, Corjan is working on an album with American star music producer Warren Croyle. In a career spanning over 25 years, Warren has worked with a long line-up of artists including Gwar, Paul Kelly, members of Culture Club, Guns n’ Roses and more recently American phenomenons Freakhouse and Marcy Playground. The songs are recorded and produced between California and The Netherlands using a networked production method using the latest available technology. Warren Croyle about Corjan: “Corjan has a unique gift for songs with lyrics that touch heart and soul”.
