2010 is going to be a busy year. After my work for the Back Slasher movie, I got involved with another British movie production, working title ‘The Stone’. It will be directed by award winning film maker Philip Gardiner. I can’t tell you anything about the script yet. What I can say is that it will be a psychological thriller with a twist in the tail and some great actors including Tony Scannell from the British police series The Bill and Chris Rankin who plays Percy Weasley in the Harry Potter films.

Besides me doing a song and maybe a signature theme I was asked to actually play a small part alongside these heroes. Now there’s an offer one shouldn’t lightly refuse so after thinking for about half a second I gave the ‘I will’. The producers have reserved a big amount to get the movie on the major festivals and on TV so we should be in for some fun. The shooting is planned to start some time in January.
2010 wordt een druk jaar waarin ik vaak het kanaal ga oversteken denk ik. Tijdens mijn werk voor de horrorfilm Back Slasher raakte ik betrokken bij nog een filmproject met de werktitel ‘The Stone’. Deze film zal worden geregisseerd door de bekroonde Britse filmmaker Philip Gardiner. Ik mag nog niets over het script vertellen. Wat ik wel mag zeggen is dat het om een psychologische thriller gaat met een mooie draai in de staart en een paar goede acteurs zoals Tony Scannell uit de Britse politieserie ‘The Bill’ en Chris Rankin die de rol van Percy Weasley speelt in de Harry Potter filmreeks.

Naast een song en misschien een mooi muzikaal thema werd me ook gevraagd of ik een klein rolletje zou willen spelen naast deze helden. Dat is een aanbod wat je niet licht naast je neer kunt leggen dus nadat ik bijgekomen was van de schrik heb ik snel mijn ‘Ja ik wil’ gegeven. De producers hebben een flink bedrag gereserveerd om de film op alle grote festivals en TV te krijgen dus het ziet er naar uit dat we leuke dingen gaan beleven. De opnames starten ergens eind januari.
